CM pays tribute to Indira Gandhi

Chief minister Virbhadra Singh paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 29th death anniversary at Government Degree College, Dharamsala, and administered the oath of unity and integrity to students.

Chief minister Virbhadra Singh paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 29th death anniversary at Government Degree College, Dharamsala, and administered the oath of unity and integrity to students.

The chief minister also inaugurated a blood donation camp organised by Rovers and Rangers Unit, Government Degree College, Dharamsala, on the occasion. As many as 35 students of the college donated blood in the camp.

Besides, Virbhadra also inspected the ongoing construction work of the college auditorium and directed the authorities concerned to complete the work in time.

Later, in a surprise visit to the zonal hospital, Dharamsala, the chief minister directed the authorities to maintain cleanliness in the hospital, particularly in the newborn care unit and female wards of the hospital.

He said the strength of specialist doctors would be increased to provide specialised medical care to the people and CT scan unit would also be replaced.

Among others present on the occasion were agriculture and power minister Sujan Singh Pathania, urban development minister Sudhir Sharma, chief parliamentary secretary Rajesh Dharmani, MLAs Ajay Mahajan and Sanjay Rattan, and vice- chairman, Forest Corporation, Kewal Singh Pathania.
