Preparations are under way to ensure a successful rally at a ground near Babatpur Airport. Sitting arrangement for more than 40,000 people will be ensured in pandals whereas a 60- ft-long, 30 ft-wide and 7 ft-high dais will be prepared for the Chief Minister.
Divisional Commissioner VV Singh Vishwen took stock of the preparation and directed the departments concerned to complete all work till November 15.
As many as 10,802 girls fromVaranasi and Chandauli districts will get cheques under the Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojna whereas 26, 798 unemployed youths of both the districts will get cheques under the Unemployment Allowance scheme of State Government.
Besides, the CM is also likely to announce several development schemes in his rally here on the day.
The verification of aspirants under Kanya Vidyadhan Yojna was under process at Queens College and Government Girls Inter College.
A large number of girls reached there to have their certificates verified.
Around 6,000 aspirants would be verified in Varanasi district under this scheme whereas the remaining are from Chandauli district.
District Inspector of School Onkar Nath Shukla said the aspirants would be given their token number to get cheques under Kanya Vidya Dhan Scheme.
He further said that 6,302 aspirants will get cheques under this scheme in Varanasi whereas remaining 4, 500 girls would get cheques in Chandauli district.
