"Congress will fight the assembly elections unitedly to oust the BJP from power," he told reporters here last evening. Ajay said the condition of women in Madhya Pradesh was much worse than anywhere else in the country. Despite the poor condition of women Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is carrying out a 'Beti Bachao' campaign and claiming that he is their 'Mama' (maternal uncle of children), he said.

State Congress chief Kantilal Bhuria claimed that a fight had already begun within the BJP ranks about who would be the Prime Ministerial candidate during the next general elections. Everyone knows that the condition of minorities is very bad in Gujarat yet its Chief Minister Narendra Modi is nursing ambitions of becoming a Prime Minister, he said. "Someone who cannot run Gujarat properly should not hope to run the nation," Bhuria said.
