And when India won the match, bridegroom Praveen Kashyap and his guests made merry to add colour to the marriage solemnised at ground near Hanuman Mandir, Krishri Nagar, Adhartal.
While Kashyap and the guests screamed, cheered and applauded when Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar hammered the balls to the boundaries, the people living nearby couldn’t stay indoors. They reached the wedding venue to know was going on. They too couldn’t hold back and joined in the wedding and made merry.
Kashyap, when his marriage date was being finalised with Deepa, had made it clear to the two families that if an LCD projector was not installed at the wedding venue, he won’t marry.
In his marriage invitation cards also he mentioned that those who come to his wedding would enjoy the game, as they have made a provision for an LCD projector.
Kashyap said his wedding was a big bash because of the live coverage of the match. “It won’t have been such a big fun if we had not installed the LCD”, he added joyfully.
Asked what if India had lost the match, he said that it would have been devastating.
