Damkheda flood-hit assured land

MINISTER FOR Commerce and Industries Babulal Gaur today assured patta holders of Damkheda and Sarvadharma Colony they will be provided land at a safe place besides financial assistance of Rs 20,000 each.

Gaur convened a meeting of residents of Kolar Road today at his residence and district Collector S K Mishra was also present. Gaur said people, who were given plot along Kaliasot river, will be shifted to a safer place and compensation will also be distributed.

Residents also complained that some of the flood-hit were unable to get financial assistance. Residents also opposed the road blockade at Kolar Bridge. District collector also directed officials to carry out survey in this locality.
BMC chairman Ramdayal Prajapati and other elected representatives were also present.
