The twelve-year-old actor who shot to fame with Taare Zameen Par, will concentrate on his studies for now. Darsheel says he has his whole life to pursue his favourite hobby, acting.
Darsheel's father Mitesh tells a daily, “We wanted him to remain grounded after all the attention he received after Taare.... Now after doing two films, Bum Bum Bhole and Zokkomon, we want him to concentrate on school, studies and other normal activities. We don’t want him to be running from one studio to another.”
The youngest actor to win a Filmfare nomination for best actor hopes people will like his upcoming movies - Bum Bum Bhole and Zokkomon.
Says Safari, “I hope people like me in Bum Bum Bhole and Zokkomon. I am not scared of my performance being compared with what I did in Taare ..., because I am not the same any more. I would like to think I have grown as an actor. I am not signing anything more, unless it’s something really exciting, till my final exams. I want to do well in my studies. I have my whole life ahead of me to indulge in my main hobby, acting.”
