The party delegation led by general secretary Shakeel Ahmed and comprising Delhi Congress chief Jai Prakash Agarwal, AICC secretaries Kuljit Nagra and Manish Chatrath, West Delhi MP Mahabal Mishra and senior MLA Subhash Chopra also demanded action against BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Harsh Vardhan for “falsely” claiming to have made Delhi polio-free during his stint as health minister of the state.

The Congress also demanded withdrawal of advertisements and hoardings put up by the BJP highlighting the high rates of onions, potatoes and tomatoes and said the Opposition party was trying to influence the Delhi voters through “false propaganda”.
