Family seeks status report

Family and friends of Shama Chopra (30), who died on May 5 after a speeding BMW hit the car she was travelling in, staged a protest march from Leisure Valley Park in Sector 29 to the office of DCP (East) on Saturday against shoddy police investigation.

Chopra was pregnant at the time of the accident. While her husband and parents suffered serious injures in the crash, driver Sanjay Gulati lost his life. The protesters claimed police was shielding accused Delhi University student Suraj Sehrawat who is out on bail.
