Five Sabarimala pilgrims killed in accident
Five pilgrims from Karnataka were killed and three seriously injured when the van they were travelling in was hit by a truck at Nellayi near Thrissur on Friday morning.

Five pilgrims from Karnataka were killed and three seriously injured when the van they were travelling in was hit by a truck at Nellayi near Thrissur on Friday morning.
According to police, the pilgrims, hailing from Mysore, were on their way to the Sabarimala temple.
They were identified as Chandran, Kiran Kumar, Sunderasen, Sivarudera Gowda and Ganesh.
Two of them died on the spot and the others succumbed to their injuries in a nearby hospital, the sources said.
