Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone starrer, upcoming release Chandni Chowk To China was named Mera Naam Chin Chin Choo earlier. According to the director of this film Nikhil Advani, the name was changed when the script developed further with Akshay's autobiography angle seeping in.

"I was the fourth person to actually come into the film since Rohan (Sippy), Akshay (Kumar) and Sridhar (Raghavan) had already finished quite some work on the film. After Rohan met up with Warner Bros. and closed on making a movie, he met up Sridhar and started working on the germ of the film. As we all know, after that a poster was made and shown to Akshay who agreed to work in the film. This is when I came into picture", reveals Nikhil.
