Senior Raje, Singh and Pilot had represented Rajasthan in the Lok Sabha and now their sons are trying to keep their legacy alive.
Raje's son Dushyant Singh is trying to retain Jhalawar seat for BJP, represented by his mother for five successive terms since 1989 before she quit to become Chief Minister last year.
Similarly Sachin Pilot would try to win from Dausa, a seat held by his father for five times and by his mother Rama Pilot after the demise of her husband in a tragic road accident.
Although Union Finance Minister Jaswant Singh represented Chittorgarh seat twice and Jodhpur once in Parliament, his son Manvendra Singh is BJP's candidate from Barmer, his native region. It is a second bid by junior Singh who lost from Barmer in last polls.
