Arvind Singh Sengar, officer on special duty, (MP State Cooperative Bank Limited) inaugurated the ATM. He said the SBI cooperative society has been doing a commendable job in its area. He highlighted various aspects of the cooperative movement.
Ramendra Hore, also the president of the credit society, said the society from its year of inception (1976) has never been a loss-making proposition and added that it had received ‘A’ category.
Providing details of the society, Hore said currently it has 8,427 members and share-capital’s deposit stands at Rs 7.29 crore. “There is a debt of Rs 42.43 crore against loan procured on borrower members”, he remarked.
Adding further, Hore said in 2005-06, dividend of Rs 68.87 lakh was disbursed. Union vice presidents Surendra Prakash Jasoria & Tariq Rafiq Ansari were also present.
