HT staffer inducted in police panel

Former Internal Security Secretary Mukund Kaushal, Orissa chief secretary Subhas Chandra Pani, Central University, Hyderabad vice-chancellor SE Hasnani, political editor of Hindustan Times Pankaj Vohra, IBN-CNN TV chief editor Rajdeep Sardesai and Prof (Ms) Tiplut Nongbri of the Jawaharlal Nehru University have been nominated to the Board of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy as non official members.

The board was reconstituted by the Union home ministry after seeking approval of the President vide a notification issued on Thursday. Union home secretary VK Duggal will be the chairman of the board which has top police officials as its official members.
