India will witness the fourth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas at the new International Convention Center and Hotel (HICC). Its distance from city centre is about 10 kms.

HICC is a state-of-the-art convention facility of international standard with optimum seating capacity of 4000 persons. Largest in the country, the convention centre will be the venue for all sessions of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2006.

Places of Interest: Endowed with a rich history, the places to visit in Hyerabad are Charminar, a 16th century gateway, Mecca masjid, Golconda Fort and Hussain Sagar lake.

Climate: The average temperature during the months of summer is anywhere around 40 degree Celsius and in the months of winters the average temperature is about 16 degree Celsius. Ideal time to visit: September to March.

Languages: Telugu is the official language of Andhra Pradesh followed by Urdu, Hindi and English.
