Former Indian skipper Kris SrikantonSaturdayexpressed confidence that India would emerge victorious in the ongoing triangular series in Australia and the proposed encounter with Pakistan.

"Our team is now completely balanced in bowling and batting as well...And I am sure that India will win the triangular series and the proposed matches with Pakistan", Srikant told reporters in a press meet after launching the LG Shoppee here.

Srikant, also an Ambassador of the LG products, said there should be a regular spinner along with pace bowlers if Anil Kumble is unfit in the triangular series finals.

He said a good contest was on cards during the forthcoming visit of Indian side to Pakistan after a long gap.

Stating that India has got a good bowler like Irfan Pathan, Srikant said efforts should continue to pick such good youngsters and give them a chance in international contests.

In reply to a question, he said India has got a good player like Virendra Sehwag as a substitute to him in the team. Srikant appreciated batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar and said V V S Laxman and Yuvaraj Singh are also in good form.

Rahul Dravid too is doing well behind the wicket as well as in batting in one-day matches.

He advised the cricket associations in Bihar to work for improving infrastructures for managing good matches, including the international ones, in the state.
