Journalist moves court to file case against Raj Thackeray

A local journalist today moved a court here for filing a case against MNS chief Raj Thackeray and his party's four MLAs in connection with the violence in the Maharashtra state assembly.

A local journalist today moved a court here for filing a case against MNS chief Raj Thackeray and his party's four MLAs in connection with the violence in the Maharashtra state assembly.

He moved the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Satyanand Upadhaya to file a case against the MNS chief and their MLAs for their utterances against the north Indians and slapping SP MLA Abu Asim Azmi for taking the oath in Hindi in the state assembly.

These five have also been accused of spreading violence in Maharashtra, hampering national unity and integrity, atrocities on students who were appearing in some examinations and denigrating Chat Puja.

The court would hear the matter on December 15.
