Kerala Director General of Prosecutions dies
Director General of Prosecutions and Special Attorney of Kerala Lok Ayukta V G Govindan Nair died at a private hospital on Tuesday.

Director General of Prosecutions and Special Attorney of Kerala Lok Ayukta V G Govindan Nair died at a private hospital here today.
Nair,73, was suffering from cancer and was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago. The end came at 2.50 am, his family said.
He is survived by his wife and daughter.
Nair had an excellent record as a criminal and civil lawyer. He was member of the Kerala Bar Council for three terms and member of the Bar Council of India from 1985 to 1988.
He was appointed Director General of Prosecutions on September 18, 2008. Nair also served as the President of Kerala Sports Council and member of Indian Olympic Association.
