Lover refuses, woman kills self
A 26-year-old woman caused a flutter at the district Court Bar council yesterday when she consumed poison in the presence of several advocates today, irked by the refusal of her lover, a lawyer, to marry her.

A 26-year-old woman caused a flutter at the district Court Bar council yesterday when she consumed poison in the presence of several advocates today, irked by the refusal of her lover, a lawyer, to marry her.
The woman had been repeatedly asking him to marry her. she went to the Bar Council today and lodged a complaint against the lawyer.
When one of the Bar council office bearers tried to mediate, the lawyer who was present refused to marry her. As the office bearer tried to explain this to her and that they could not do anything about it, she consumed some posion from a bottle.
She was admitted to a private hospital, where her condition was stated to be out of danger.
