Maha providing adequate funds for tribal development: Bhujbal

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal said that Maharashtra is first state in country for providing funds for tribal development schemes as 16 per cent sector of the state coming under tribal zone.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal on Friday said that Maharashtra is the first state in the country for providing funds for tribal development schemes as 16 per cent sector of the state coming under tribal zone.

Speaking after inaugurating state level convention of Adivasi Vikas Vibhag Karmachari Sanghatana in Kalidas Kala Mandir in Nashik, Bhujbal said that the state government has undertaken various schemes for tribal development like Kanyadan yojana, Gharkul yojana, new gas connection scheme, Nuclious budget and made available major funds for the purpose.

Founder president of tribal development employees federation, Vikram Gaikwad was present on the occasion.
