Parts of the 74-year-old Gandhian’s formative years and life journey will be interwoven in the protagonist’s story as flashbacks.

“We will request Anna to take part in some of the scenes. The idea is to project his philosophy as an activist,” says Ganesh Shinde, film’s director and scriptwriter.

The script is currently being revised to incorporate Anna’s arrest, protests, release and the historic fast undertaken in New Delhi last month.

The film will go on floors after Ganesh Chaturthi and some sequences will be shot in and around Ralegan Siddhi, Hazare’s native village.

Being made under the banner of M S Films, the film has a budget of Rs 60 lakh and is expected to release on November 13.
