Though the actress is known for giving masala hits like Mohra, Andaaz Apna Apna and Main Khiladi Tu Anari, she joined the National award winner brigade with Kalpana Lazmi's Satta.

Initially touted as an unlucky actress for filmmakers because of flops like Patthar Ke Phool, Parampara, Ek Hi Raasta, Divya Shakti, Pehla Nasha, Laadla and Insaaniyat, Raveena Tandon hit the jackpot with Dilwale opposite Ajay Devgan. After that she didn't look back.

Her career has been a mix of hits and flops, but she managed to stand out in the crowd with her unique charming persona. In the later half of her career, she impressed critics too with her acting.
