Matchmaking for inmates of children?s home

AS A part of the noble efforts started by the State Women Welfare Department for providing better future to ten wards of the Government Children?s Home (women) of Kanpur city, details have been sought from prospective brides who have attained 18 years of age.

AS A part of the noble efforts started by the State Women Welfare Department for providing better future to ten wards of the Government Children’s Home (women) of Kanpur city, details have been sought from prospective brides who have attained 18 years of age.

Suitable matchmaking would be done by the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the DM as per the government directive in this regard issued in February 2006.

According to divisional probation officer (women welfare) Sant Ram, the last date for submitting the application has been fixed May 31, 2006. The application should be sent directly to the Government Children’s Home (women), Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur or the office of the district probation officer, Kanpur.

Thegovernment had taken a decision in September 1998 for matrimonial settlement of girls, who are wards of government-run children’s home and have completed the age of 18 years.
