Speaking at an impromptu press meet organised immediately after the conclusion of the 11th SAARC summit at the Birendra International Convention Centre, the summit venue, here today, Mr Musharraf skillfully and in jocular way fielded the questions of journalists which left all the present there impressed.
Replying a question in an improvised room packed with mediamen from home and abroad, the Pakistani president said he could not embrace the Indian Prime Minister due to a large table between them and shook hands with him warmly.
Asked what talks were held between the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan, Mr Musharraf replied in a humorous way that they certainly did not talk about the weather condition in Kathmandu.
In response to another question about the exchange of notes between the two foreign ministers, the Pakistani president said they definitely did not share jokes.
He also spoke of the need of concrete and result-oriented talks as the time for cricket or bus diplomacy has gone. (Courtesy RSS)
