Office bearers to take oath on Oct 6

THE SWEARING- in ceremony of newly elected office bearers of Gorakhpur Journalist Press Club would take place on October 6. General secretary of Press Club of India Pushpendra Kulsrestra would be the chief guest, while the programme would be presided over by SP MLC Ganesh Shanker Pandey.

Talking to mediapersons, newly election president Shafi Azmi said that chief editor of a Hindi daily RC Gupta and unit incharge of another Hindi daily Shailendra Mani Tripathi would be the guest of honour on this occasion.

Election officer for the Press Club election Rajiv Ojha, Vivek Rai and Vachaspati Mishra would monitor the oath ceremony. Azmi had appealed all the members of club to participate in the ceremony and said it was delayed due to Navratri and Dussehra.

Secretary of newly elected office bearer Ritesh Mishra, vice president Arun Rai, Treasurer Dhiraj Srivastav, Joint Secretary Kamlesh Singh and members
of executive council were also present on this occasion.
