It is very disappointing to have to see zillions of people not being provided with a good education system, in our country. In our locality, Badshahpur, one can easily see the dreadful phenomenon of poverty ruling the lives of nearly all the villagers, outside the school campus. With no education, no proper sanitation, no proper clothing, we can still see the zeal, enthusiasm and smiles in the faces of every individual, eager and open to learn from the so called 'educated sector' of Pathways World School.

During the rigorous CAS (Creativity, Action, Service) meeting in our school, where every member voiced their opinions to their highest pitches regarding environmental issues, my attention was drawn to the fact that most of the children in the local village require a good educational system to empower themselves and also to raise literacy levels in the society.

I, hence, emphasized the purpose of having a 'literacy club' in our school to the CAS Coordinator. Unaware of the enormous support provided by the school, the coordinator immediately collected a group of students interested in teaching and formed the club.

After lots of planning, communication and passing through the school administrative procedures, the literacy club came to life on 22nd September, 2012. On collecting enthusiastic children villagers in learning, the club functions every Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

It is understood that students may not be the best experts to teach, but our main motto was to introduce an educational system where "FUN WITH LEARNING" is possible.
