Sule, whose name has been doing the rounds as the party's nominee for the Rajya Sabha seat which is lying vacant following death of party leader Vasant Chavhan, joined NCP as a primary member on July 17 last.

Sule's name figures along with her cousin and party heavyweight Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister RR Patil and Union Minister Praful Patel in the 94-member list, released last night.

Sule is being seen as the prime candidate for the Rajya Sabha seat but Congress may spoil her chances by putting up their own candidate.
