Vinod Bhosale (30), attached to Kalamana police station, shot himself with his service revolver at his rented residence, they said, adding reason behind the suicide was not yet known.

Bhosale, who hailed from Satara district, was among a batch of about 50 Sub-Inspectors posted at various police stations and departments in the city three months back.
