While many applauded army's swift response to the Manipur attack which claimed the lives of 18 soldiers on Tuesday, a debate simultaneously raged after Myanmar on Wednesday denied the attack was carried out inside its territory.

Meanwhile, the Congress hit out at the Modi government on Friday for its "boastful and jingoistic" remarks on the army operation.
