Presiding over the meeting, the district president of the council Rameshwar Prasad Pandey expressed his concern over dilly-delaying tactics adopted by the state government over 20-point demands of the council.

The district president of the council Gorakh Lal Srivastav said principal’s council would stage a dharna at joint director education’s office on November 8 in support of their demands.

He said the principal of high school and intermediate colleges should be placed into similar category and demanded for the promotion of the principals.

Srivastav demanded the principal of unaided college should be made examination centre incharge in board examination. City unit president of the council Radheshyam Mishra, SK Yadav, Subhash Singh, Kamal Srivastav, Pushpa Verma, Radheshyam Singh, Chandraqbhusha Mishra, Jai Narain Shukla and many others were present in the meeting. They blamed that insensitive attitude of the state government has left no option before them except to continue the struggle in democratic way.

Regularisation of the services as head of the education institutions of acting principal is priority of the council, they added.
