His comments came after his visit this morning to the sufi shrine of Khwaja Mohiuddin Chisti, which was rocked by a blast on Thursday evening killing two and injuring 17.

"I am fully aware of the progress of the investigations and how far it has reached. The investigations is going as far as our borders," Patil told reporters in Ajmer.

The Home Minister, who offered chadar at the shrine, also visited the injured at the hospital where they are being treated and promised all help to them.

"We are with you in this time of sorrow. The Centre and the state government will provide all help to those victims," Patil said.
