Producer Jhamu Sugandh passes away

The producer of blockbusters like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and well known Bollywood financier Jhamu Sugandh died in Mumbai on Monday following cardiac arrest.

Sources close to the Sugandh family said he was rushed to the Life Criticare Hospital in Juhu following breathing problems. He passed away a little later around noon.

Sugandh had produced movies like Filhaal, Aks, Chachi 420 and Rangeela. His company Jhamu Sugandh Productions also produced non-commercial movies like Buddhadeb Dasgupta's Kaalpurush and Earth.
