"The Court of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate Poonam Ratti passed the orders on Thursday afternoon and has discharged Kohli in the case," Kohli's counsel Charanjit Bakshi said from Kharar.

The case was registered against him and his family members on March 25 this year.

Kohli was produced before the Kharar court after being brought from the high-security Burail Jail in Chandigarh, where he is presently lodged under judicial custody.
