Raids against food adulteration in Delhi

The raids, which began on Wednesday morning, are being conducted by the Prevention of Food Adulteration.

In a major drive against food adulteration, the Delhi government on Wednesday conducted raids in important mandis and markets of the national capital and carried out surprise checks on food items being sold.

The raids, which began on Wednesday morning, are being conducted by the Prevention of Food Adulteration (PFA) department of the Delhi government.

Food inspectors formed ten teams and have fanned out in different parts of the city.

Among the mandis being raided are Khoya mandi near Old Delhi Railway Station and the Dairy Products market in Rohini.
