Rangaswamy sworn-in as Pondy CM

The 55-year-old Rangasamy has been sworn in as the Chief Minister for the second successive time.

N Rangasamy was Thursday sworn in as the Chief Minister of the Union Territory of Pondicherry by Lt Governor MM Lakhera.

The 55-year-old Rangasamy, who was sworn in as the Chief Minister for the second successive time, took the oath of office and secrecy in Tamil and in the name of god.

Earlier, Pondicherry Chief Secretary CS Khairwal read out the Presidential notification appointing Rangasamy as the Chief Minister of the Union Territory.
