Talking to medipersons here on Friday, Tiwari said that scanning work was under way at all the offices of Registry department through which all paper documents would be compiled in different CDs. He further informed that the process would take one year in its completion.
Tiwari said his ministry had decided to construct buildings for the offices of Registry department across the State. He further added that there were about 350 offices of Registry department in the State at present.
He said the Registry department was second in revenue generation in the State. “When I took over charge of this ministry, the revenue was of Rs 1200 crore but now, the revenue collection has gone up to Rs 3300 crore”, he said and added that the ministry’s target was to achieve first place in revenue collection.
He said his ministry would ensure revised pay salary to the employees of the Registry department.
He further informed that Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav had announced that the department would be revamped.
To a query about next Assembly elections, he said his party would register its effective presence in the next Assembly elections.
He did not rule out any alliance with other political parties.
He said that the units of Loktantrik Party were working actively in 45 districts and a membership campaign would be launched soon.
He further informed that annual convention of Loktantrik Party would be convened in Lucknow on July 31 in which party leaders would discus the strategy to strengthen the part at grass root level.
