The victim, Naresh Kumar, runs a garments retail shop at Rajiv Nagar. He is stated to be out of danger and is recuperating at a city-based hospital.

The incident took place in the Jyoti Park area in Old Gurgaon when the victim, Naresh Kumar, and the assailants entered into a heated argument, after their bikes brushed against one other.

This provoked one of the two men and he allegedly brandished his country-made pistol at the victim.

As the argument lingered, the culprit shot at Kumar and a bullet hit his hip.

City police station SHO Attar Singh said, “The victim is out of danger and recovering at a city hospital. Efforts are on to identify the two men.”

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case of attempt to murder.
