The star is now practicing songs and dances for overseas road shows.
Bollywood movie star Salman Khan, freed on bail last week after being convicted of killing an endangered animal, has begun work on songs and dances he will perform at overseas road shows, his brother Sohail Khan said Monday.

Salman Khan is practicing six hours a day for the concert called "Rock Stars" that will tour the United States, Canada and Europe next month.
Salman Khan will also resume acting in movies stalled due to his arrest.
"He's concerned about delays in the Rock Stars concert and is making every effort to get his schedules back on track," said Sohail Khan. "It's almost like a junoon (passion)." The concert was scheduled to begin this week, but will now start in early May.
Bollywood movie stars often perform song and dance routines at road shows popular among South Asians settled overseas. Salman Khan will shoot for his new movie Partner that will largely be filmed in Canada during the week and perform in the concerts over the weekend, said Sohail Khan.

The actor was sentenced last Monday to five years in prison for poaching a rare buck in a desert wildlife preserve in 1998. He spent three nights in jail before being released on bail. The poaching incident occurred eight years ago when he along with other people allegedly drove into the Thar desert to shoot deer while on a break from filming.
Salman Khan is also on trial in a separate case in Bombay for a 2002 traffic accident that killed a man and injured three others sleeping on a Bombay sidewalk when Khan's car allegedly hit them.
