Sania bows out of Forest Hills quarters

Sania Mirza went down fighting to number four seed Lourdes Dominguez of Spain in the quarterfinals of the Forest Hills Classic Women's Singles matches on Friday.

The Spaniard beat Sania 6-4, 5-7, 6-3 to set up a semi-final clash with America's Meghann Shaughnessy.

The match was interrupted due to rain on Thursday night with Dominguez leading 4-3.
