SC directs J&K to deport terrorists from PoK

The order came from a Bench headed by Justice A K Mathur on a petition filed by one Suram Chand, reports Satya Prakash.

The Supreme Court has directed the Centre and Jammu Kashmir Government to initiate process for deportation of 10 terrorists hailing from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir after it was found that they have already spent more years in jail that required if they are convicted for the offences they are charged with.

The order came from a Bench headed by Justice A K Mathur on a petition filed by one Suram Chand highlighting the fact that most of the militants had already served out the maximum sentence under the offences charged.
