Shiv Sena MP Prakash Paranjpe dead

Known as a studious parliamentarian and an authority on public finance, Paranjpe was representing the Thane Lok Sabha constituency since 1996.
Shiv Sena MP Prakash Paranjpe has died of throat cancer at his Thane residence. He was 60.
The end for the three-time Lok Sabha member came around 11.45 pm on Wednesday, after a grim two-year battle with the ailment, first at Bombay Hospital and lately at his Gokhale Road residence in Thane, family members said.

Known as a studious parliamentarian and an authority on public finance, Paranjpe was representing the Thane Lok Sabha constituency since 1996.
The last rites were held at the Thane crematorium on February 21 morning in the presence of a large number of Shiv Sena leaders and workers.
