Somaiah's judicial custody extended till Feb 9

A city court in Bangalore extended to February 9, the judicial custody of Karthik Somaiah, facing charge of fatally knocking down four people by recklessly driving his car under the influence of liquor.

A city court in Bangalore on Tuesday extended to February 9, the judicial custody of Karthik Somaiah, facing charge of fatally knocking down four people by recklessly driving his car under the influence of liquor.

Twenty-nine-year-old Somaiah, employed with a multinational bank, had first fatally knocked down a cyclist from his car, before running over three morning walkers in the wee hours of Saturday.

Later that day, he had surrendered before the police.
