“Our alliance with Congress will be finalised in the days to come,” Yadav told reporters in Lucknow.

Asked about the fall-out of his friendship with Kalyan Singh, Yadav said, “We are free to take and give support to anyone in the elections. No one should have objection to it.”

When asked to comment on BJP’s prime ministerial candidate L K Advani’s visit to a gym, where he tried his hands on dumbels and exercising machines, Yadav said, “Admi man se javan hota hai. Agar Advaniji jawan hain to apko kya dikkat hai,” (A man is young by heart. If Advanji is young why do you have problems).

“I pray for his health. He should remain hail and hearty”, Yadav said.
