Tata Motors Jan sales up 20%

India's top bus and truck maker, Tata Motors Ltd, said on Thursday vehicle sales rose 20 per cent in January to 46,635 units from 39,000 units a year earlier.

Exports rose 16 per cent to 4,569 units from 3,943 units.

New York-listed Tata Motors said sales of commercial vehicles rose 25 per cent to 21,301 units from 17,003 units, while sales of cars and utility vehicles rose 15 per cent to 20,765 units.
