When Yana Gupta arrived at the Lakme India Fashion Week dressed nattily in a white top and trousers, she left everyone enthralled. The Czech beauty has scarcely been seen on the LIFW ramp this year, and is gearing up to do yet another item number after the Babuji song in 'Dum'.
When Yana Gupta arrived at the Lakme India Fashion Week dressed nattily in a white top and trousers, she left everyone enthralled. The Czech beauty has scarcely been seen on the LIFW ramp this year, and is gearing up to do yet another item number after the Babuji song in 'Dum'.
Yana feels there's nothing wrong in doing item numbers. At a styling workshop conducted by Goa-based designer Wendell Rodricks on Wednesday, she says: "I used to learn ballroom dancing. Now I’m dabbling with the piano and the guitar. Music is therapy, more so when you work in the vicious modelling world."
Wendell gets the top slot among her favourite designers. "His cotton outfits are fabulous. As far as I'm concerned, I'm only participating in the grand finale of IFW 2003. It's tough to juggle ramp and films because both need 100 per cent dedication. As a professional I'd like to give my best to what I do," she concludes.
