Wipro allots 2.35 lakh shares under ESOS

IT firm Wipro Ltd on Thursday said it has resolved to allot over 2.35 lakh equity shares to the eligible staff under the employees stock option scheme.

IT firm Wipro Ltd on Thursday said it has resolved to allot over 2.35 lakh equity shares to the eligible staff under the employees stock option scheme (ESOS).

The company also decided to allot over 2.02 lakh equity shares to JP Morgan Chase Bank the Company's depository as underlying shares in respect of American Depository Receipts pursuant to the exercise of the stock options granted to the employees.

The Administrative Committee of board of directors took a decision to this effect at its meeting held on Thursday, Wipro said in filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Shares of the company closed at Rs 413.15 per piece, down 1.20 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
