Woman?s murder worked out
POLICE HAVE worked out the murder of a married woman Anupa Singh and arrested her husband with the pistol used in the crime. She had been shot dead in mysterious circumstances in her house in Jai Prakash Nagar colony under the Cantonment police station late at night on April 6. After minute investigation of the case, police arrested her husband Kharag Bahadur Singh. The cause of the murder has come up as the tussle between husband and wife.

During interrogation, the arrested man told the police that he had hidden the pistol used for killing her wife in the courtyard of the house and had told the police that his wife was murdered by two unidentified persons. However, after thorough investigation, the cops came to the conclusion that it was Kharag Singh who shot dead his wife, Anupa following constant quarrels with her.
The arrested man told police that his wife belonged to a rich family and wanted to lead a luxurious life but he was not capable of bearing so many expenses. Fed up with the suggestations of his wife to make much money and her taunts for not doing well in life, he finally decided to kill her on the night of April 6.
He had already managed to procure a pistol from one of his friends for the murder. After killing his wife, he had informed the cops that two unidentified persons entered the house forcibly late at night and shot dead his wife and fled the scene. Later, the parents of the deceased woman expressed their suspicion about their son-in-law. in connection with the murder.
The man had disappeared after the funeral of his wife but the cops of the Cantonment police station KD Mishra and Shashi Mauli Pandey spotted him in Paharai area on Saturday evening and nabbed him.
