Karnataka Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa on Friday expressed grief over the death of veteran Congress leader, K Karunakaran and said his death is loss of a "towering personality".
93 year old Kannoth Karunakaran, who passed away on Thursday, had served as Union Industry Minister under the late P V Narasimha Rao in the nineties.
"In his death, we have lost a towering personality in public life. I pray the almighty to bestow enough strength on the family to bear the loss", Yeddyurappa said in his condolence message.
