Yellow House, Blue House in finals

YELLOW HOUSE (under-13) and Blue House (under-15) today entered the finals of their respective categories in the St Michael?s Inter-Academy Cricket Tournament being organised by St Michael?s Cricket Academy (SMCA) at Bab-e-Aali Stadium.

YELLOW HOUSE (under-13) and Blue House (under-15) today entered the finals of their respective categories in the St Michael’s Inter-Academy Cricket Tournament being organised by St Michael’s Cricket Academy (SMCA) at Bab-e-Aali Stadium.

In the first semifinal match of the under-13 category, Yellow House defeated Blue House by five wickets. Batting first, Blue House failed to repeat the performance of the league matches. The team surrendered to the splendid bowling by attack of Yellow House and set an 88-run target in 25 overs.

Zaid and Sameer scored 20 runs each. Minhaj of Yellow House bowled his one of the best bowling spells and claimed four wickets. Besides excellent bowling spell, he also batted well. While chasing the target, he scored 25 runs — the highest score for the team. Yellow House won the match comfortably by five wickets.

In the second semifinal, played between Blue House and White House of the under-15 category, the former registered a 7-wickets win over the latter. Chasing the 128-run target set by the White House, Blue House, with the help of an unbeaten 35 by Wajid, reached it for the loss of three wickets.
