A youth was killed when fire broke out in a house in Kishtwar district.
The incident happened late on Sunday night when fire engulfed the upper floor of a two-storeyed building at Pochal village in the district, police said.
Eighteen-year-old Rohit Kumar died after being trapped in the fire inside his room, they said, adding the other family members managed to escape.
It took the fire tenders nearly 30 minutes to douse the flames, the police said, adding the cause of fire and loss of property was being ascertained.
