Cops announce cash reward for information on 52 missing children in Ujjain

As many as 52 kids between three to 12 years of age went missing from different part of Ujjain and its adjoining part of the city during the last three years and police have failed to get any information or trace any one of them.

After failing to procure information about 52 missing children, Ujjain police on Friday announced a total of Rs 1.04 lakh as reward for any information on them.

As many as 52 kids between three to 12 years of age went missing from different part of Ujjain and its adjoining part of the city during the last three years and police have failed to get any information or trace any one of them.

Ujjain superintendent of police, MS Verma, said that during last three years 52 kids went missing in the district and as per the Supreme Court guideline, in case of a missing child, FIR is registered by Ujjain police under the head of kidnapping.

About the intervention of police headquarters into the matter, SP Verma said that the police have announced reward of Rs 2,000 on each child and have started investigation afresh in the case.
